Enrichment Programs

Building skills, finding community, and having fun together.

Some of the most meaningful progress children make happens alongside their peers. Enrichment programs give children the opportunity to practice real skills in real moments, with other kids who understand what it feels like to be them.

Our enrichment programs are small, structured, and therapist-led. Every program is designed with the same care and clinical intention as our individual therapy sessions, with the added benefit of peer connection, shared experience, and a whole lot of fun.

CONNECTION AND BELONGING

Social Skills Groups

Our social skills programs are designed for children who want to build friendships, practice communication, and feel more confident connecting with others. We take a neurodiversity affirming approach, which means our goal is never to make your child conform to a narrow idea of how they should interact. Instead, we focus on helping each child find their own authentic ways to connect, communicate, and build relationships that feel meaningful to them.

Groups are small by design, so every child gets the support and attention they need. Activities are engaging, low-pressure, and grounded in what actually matters to kids: playing, laughing, and feeling like they belong.

We are currently planning our next social skills program and would love to know if your child might be a good fit. Join the interest list and we will reach out with details as soon as they are available.

EXPLORING FOOD TOGETHER

Feeding Groups

Our feeding programs bring children together to explore new foods in a fun, relaxed, and completely pressure-free setting. Being around other kids who are on the same journey can make a big difference. Trying something new feels a lot less scary when everyone at the table is doing it together.

Groups are led by our OT team and follow the same gradual, play-based approach as our individual feeding therapy. Children are never forced or pressured to eat. The goal is to build curiosity, comfort, and confidence around food at a pace that works for each child.

We are currently planning our next feeding program and would love to reserve a spot for your child. Join the interest list and we will be in touch with details.

FUNDING OPTIONS

Using SDP to fund enrichment programs

If your child is a Regional Center client participating in the Self-Determination Program (SDP), your SDP budget can typically be used to fund participation in our enrichment programs. SDP allows families to direct their Regional Center budget toward the services and supports that best fit their child, and enrichment programs are a common fit.

To be eligible, your child must be a client of the Inland Regional Center or the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center with an active, SDP-funded Individual Program Plan in place. If you are not sure whether SDP applies to your family, your service coordinator is the best place to start. You can also visit our Insurance and Payer Sources page for more information on funding options, or reach out to us and we will help point you in the right direction.
